Dinner was over.
The notes weren’t.
ToothNotes started at home, seeing how much of a dental working day could follow someone into their evening.
I’d see my partner doing patient notes after dinner. The appointments were finished, but the documentation had taken too long to fit into the working day. So it came home.
That was the starting point for ToothNotes. I wanted to make the process easier, so writing up the day didn’t have to take over the evening.
Good notes take care and attention. The idea was to make the repetitive parts easier: give dentists a structure to start from, a quicker way to capture the details, and a clear draft to review.

More of your evening should belong to you.
That’s the aim behind ToothNotes: less time spent building notes from scratch, with the detail and final review still in your hands.
Built for the details of your day.
ToothNotes brings reusable templates, direct entry and voice capture into one place for Australian dentists. Start with your structure, add the appointment details, then check and edit the draft.
When you’re happy with the note, copy it into your PMS. You decide what goes into the patient record.
